COORG TO CUP · COORG, KARNATAKA
Coorg to Cup brings single-origin, shade-grown coffees directly from the misty highlands of Coorg. Hand-picked at peak ripeness and roasted in small batches for exceptional balance and clarity.
OUR ORIGIN · KODAGU, KARNATAKA
High in the misty Western Ghats, local family estates have cultivated coffee for generations beneath dense, multi-tiered forest canopies of wild rosewood, fig, and jackfruit trees.
We founded Coorg to Cup to connect coffee lovers directly with these single-origin micro-lots. Tended with care, hand-picked at peak ripeness, and roasted in small batches to preserve their distinct highland terroir.
THE HARVEST
Every winter, as cool mountain mists sweep across the highlands, coffee cherries slowly mature under deep forest shade. Between November and January, estate teams walk the slopes daily, selecting only rich, dark red cherries at their peak sweetness.
This slow shade-ripening process allows complex sugars to build up within each bean, giving Coorg coffee its hallmark low acidity, full body, and notes of cocoa, warm spice, and wild honey.
Where we're rooted
From the misty Western Ghats of Southern India.
High in the Brahmagiri hills, mist feeds the mountain streams where the Kaveri River originates. The surrounding highland slopes hold our coffee estates: ideal altitude, rich soil, and abundant rain combined into one distinct terroir.
